I’m 37 weeks tomorrow… Over the past 4 days I have been having contractions… Monday they started at 7-8 minutes and went to a minute apart after 16 hours only for the dr to tell me I’m not dilating passed a 1 so they sent me home and told me to take something to make me sleep… Tuesday and Wednesday I had them about 7-8 minutes apart, pretty strong… Wednesday I had a regular scheduled appointment with the on call dr (mine is on vacation this week) and I was still at a 1… I got up this morning and felt pretty good for once so I decided to mow the yard… It was in the lower 80′s I think and pretty windy, so I really wasn’t that hot. I hope the following information isn’t TMI… But, when I got off the lawn mower, I reached back to dust my rear off and my shorts were SOAKED. There wasn’t a pool of liquid or anything in the seat, but it was wet. I called the on call nurse and spoke with her and she seemed to think it was from me sweating, but My tank top nor my sports bra were even slightly damp. Everytime I cough or sneeze now I feel like I’m peeing, but if I’m on the toilet and I wipe it’s clear and there’s been some slightly pink discharge as well. I think if I was peeing on myself it would be like neon yellow (my prenatals make it do that no matter how much I drink). Has this happened to anyone else? I’m having some strong contractions, but not within 5 minutes of each other so it could be the same as the past few days. What should I do? My sister-in-law is freaking out wanting me to go to labor and delivery and get checked out, but the nurse made it out to be nothing… Has this happened to anyone else? Am I overreacting? I’m going to try to wait out another 30 minutes or so to see if I leak anymore and I think I’m going to end up going to get checked out… Thanks everyone & God Bless!!
As badly as I wanted my water to have broken… I apparently got a lot hotter than I thought and it was just from my legs sweating on the plastic seat & got somewhat dehydrated… But, at least my little girl gets to stay protected inside me for a little longer and a has a chance to grow stronger and healthier before she gets here!
