If it bothers you at all.
Say you’re in a restaurant, or a shopping center, or a playground, and you see a mom sitting there holding her baby at her chest. You can’t see her boobs or nipples because she’s wearing either a nursing top or she is crafty and made one herself using a tank top and a low cut tee shirt.
How is that offensive? How is it private?
Yeah, I’m not going to bother pumping a bottle and honestly, I doubt he would take it anyway. He’s 3 months old and already has a preference. He won’t take a bottle from me at all, and he won’t take one from my husband unless I’m nowhere in sight.
I shouldn’t have to do that anyway. I have a legal right to breastfeed anywhere that I and my baby are otherwise allowed to be.
You guys talking about bottle feeding have good points.
I got more dirty looks when I was formula feeding my twins than I ever get now while nursing in public.
Nobody has ever given me a crosswise glance, but I live in New England and we’re pretty crunchy up here. At the playgroup I like to take my kids to sometimes there are 3 other moms with babies and we all sat in a circle breastfeeding. lol

I used to feel like you but now that I have done it, started really slowly at it… I feel extremely comfortable with it and I dare anyone to tell me otherwise to my face.
